Mission

Zion Baptist Church exists to be a center of Christ-like love and healing, to introduce people to Jesus Christ, helping them mature in faith and grow in service, sending them into the world to spread the good news, making Disciples of Jesus.

Our Purpose Statement

 Zion Baptist Church exist for the purpose of bringing people into relationship with God through Jesus Christ and drawing them into the Christ-centered community of the church.

 Our Vision Statement

 To become a transformed community of believers, led and empowered by the Holy Spirit.  We envision Zion Baptist Church joyfully ad intentionally creating opportunities for interconnections and relationships between Christ, our congregation, and community. 

Christ being the center of our connectedness invites us into covenant relationship and calls us to discipleship.  We seek to create a atmosphere of love and healing that fosters transformation, honoring their current level of involvement in God's mission and offering them the means of grace to deep that involvement.  We seek to connect with and be a witness to a changing community, especially to the least among us and the lost, as we seek to learn what the Holy Spirit is calling us to do and be.
